GRAND LODGE OF GOOD TEMPLARS. (united press association.) Christchurch, April 14. At the 1.0.G.T. Grand Lodge session today Mr J. Harding was elected Grand Chief / Templar ; .Mr R. Clephane, Grand Councillor ; Mr D. C. Cameron, Secretary ; Mr W. Carr, Treasurer; Rev W. Watson, Chaplin ; Mr Walton, Superintendent of the Juvenile Temple ; Messrs D. C. Cameron and J. T. Smith, regular representatives to the worthy Grand Lodge ; and Messrs J. HardIngandJ. A. Efford, alternative representatives. Later. At the evening session of the 1.0.G.T. Grand Lodge yesterday, the report of the Committee on the reunion of the Order was again before the Lodge, and was adopted. The chief recommendations .were that the prospects of the union were gratifying, and that a circular on the subject be forwarded by the Executive to the R.W.G.L. that the next session of this Grand Lodge be held at Wellington next January to consummate the Union Grand Lodge, the other Order having arranged to meet at that time and place, aiat at the meeting named the representation be altered to lodge instead of district representation. The appeals by the Chief of the Lifeboat Lodge, Timaru, and Bro Ludwig, o£ Wellington, against the decision of the G.W. Chief Templar, were dismissed.
