ACCIDENT ON MOUNT EGMONT.

(united press association.) Hawera, March 25. An accident has occurred at Mount Egmont. A party of tourists had made the ascent, and while on the side of the mountain one of the party, Miss Mitchell, a daughter of Mr J. W. Mitchell, of Manaia, was struck by a boulder which had by some means got loose, and came rolling down with great velocity. Happily, it first struck another boulder, and the force of the blow was somewhat lessened. Nevertheless the lady was very seriously injured. She was carried down, arriving at 9 o’clock at night, and was taken to her father’s residence next day. '
