BUSH FIRE AT WOODVILLE.

(united press association.) " Woodville, February 4.

There was great excitement here last -night in consequenoe of some dead logs round the houses in the south-west part of the town taking fire-. The light wind caused the fire to spread rapidly, and at one time at least a dozen houses were in danger of being burnt. The occupants cleared out, the townspeople helping them to remove their furniture. But little damage was done. At present the wind has fortunately dropped.
