TERRIBLE RAILWAY ACCIDENT.
By Electric Telegraph.—Copyright. (reutEr’s telegrams.) Washington, February 6. An express train from Boston to Montreal ran off the rails on the Hudson Biver bridge on to the ice. The train took fire, and 40 of the passengers were burned to death. (SPECIAL TO UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.) London, February 7. The express train from Boston to Montreal, which ran off the rails on tbe Hudson Biver bridge on to the ice, and which subsequently look fire, was burnt in thirty minutes. From the position of the train it was
impossible to render any assistance, and seventy lives were lost.
