Melbourne, December 2.-

The ss South Australian, which arrived to-day from Adelaide, brought 100 returned diggers from the Teetulpa goldfields. Adelaide, December 2.

The bank at Teetulpa has purchased 300 ounces of gold from the diggers in the neighborhood since Monday last. Water is reported to be very scarce on the goldfield. Adelaide, December 4.

Many diggers are returning here from Teetulpa, owing to the shortness of water on the field. Adelaide, December 7.

Accounts from Teetulpa continue to be conflicting. It is known that the English, Scottish, and Australian Chartered Bank bought 687 ounces of gold last week, but on the other hand diggers who have returned condemn the field. '
