A SENSITIVE HARBOR BOARD

(united press Association.) O amaru, November 26.

At a meeting of the Harbor Board to-day, ■the subject of an article that appeared in the Otago Daily Times with reference to the harbor was discnssed, and a letter from the Board’s solicitor was read, in which the statements in the article were characterised .as libellous, inasmuch as they were untrue, •and calculated to do the Board harm. It was, however, after discussion, decided to give the Times an opportunity of rectifying its misstatement before proceeding further in the matter.
