MELBOURNE WOOL SALES.

Melbourne, November 11.

Messrs R. Goldsborough and Company (Limited), held their usual weekly sale yesterday to a large attendance of Home and foreign buyers. Competition for all lots was brisk. The catalogues comprised 7000 bales, including several well-known Biverina and Victorian clips, which realised very satisfactory prices. Good greasy fleece realised lid per lb ; good greasy lambs, llfd ; and good scoured 18yd. 6700 bales were sold, including clips disposed of privately. The sale was considered the most satisfactory one of the season.
