The Marquis of Salisbury has stated that England’s immediate interests are nor engaged in the Balkan dispute, and he expresses the opinion that the judgment of Austria will carry enormous weight in the counsels of Great Britain. He adds that England will act without allies if her interests are threatened.
The Kegents have released the Bourgas plotters.

The election of a successor- to Prince Alexander took place in the Sobranje to-day. Prince Waldemar, of Denmark, was unanimously elected to the throne of Bulgaria.
