RECIPROCITY WITH AMERICA.
(UNITED PRESS ASSOCIATION.) Christchurch, October 20.
In answer to another letter from the Wool* growers’ Association, Sir Julius Vogel writes that, with a view to obtaining reciprocal concessions between the United States and the colonies in reference to the duties on wool and kerosene, the Governments should act either through the British Ambassador, or had better obtain authority from the Queen to negotiate directly with the United States by means of a delegate.
