COMMERCIAL TELEGRAMS.
The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company (Limited) have received the following telegram from their London office, dated the 12th instant: —Wheat. —The market is dull. Victorian is worth 35s per 4961bs ; New Zealand average quality, 33s 6d ; and New Zealand longberried, 31s Gd do. Tallow. —The market has a hardening tendency. Good mutton is worth 26s 6d ; do beef, 23s per cwt. Leather. —Market unchanged.. Kauri Gum. —The market is improving, and medium and inferior qualities are in. good demand Hops. —The yield is large, but the quality is somewhat inferior- Frozeu Meat.—Market quiet. New Zealand mutton, weighing per carcase 651bs to 701bs, is worth 4fd per ib. New Zealand beef is worth 4f d per lb. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company, Limited, have received the following telegram from their London office, dated 15th instant: —“ Tallow is in good demand. Australian mutton and beef have both advanced Is per cwt.”
