The rain which fell yesterday morning will have done the Island Bay conrse a deal of good. To-day it is to be rolled, and should the weather hold out it will be better than it ever has been. The! course certainly never looked 30 w,ell as it now does, Mr Tancrei’o
team arrived yesterday Forester, Revoke, Normanby, and First Water. Rnmonr and Patricious arrived on Wednesday. There iB said to be a scarcity of lightweight jockeys, which is rather an unusual difficulty.
