WEIGHT-FOR-AGE EVENT RENEWAL OF KING'S PLATE An important weigbt-for-age event to be renewed at Eilerslic today is the King's Plate, one mile, which, owing to wartime restrictions, has not appeared on the programme since 1041. The raw- was originated in lltll, when it was known as the Islington Plnle, but in it was re-nattfed the King's Plate.
