HARDCASTLE—LAWSON Tho marriage of Miss Ruth Margaret Law.son, only child of Mr and Mrs It. B. 1). Lawson, of Kerikeri, and Mr Peter Richard Hardeastle, youngest son of Mr and Mrs J. M. Hardeastle, 734 Renmera Road, Auckland, was celebrated at St. James' Church, Kerikeri, yesterday afternoon. The Rev. J. G. Heath officiated. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a charming pale blue draped afternoon dress and a tiny hat of white feathers and net. The flower girl. Marv Dawn, wore a floral dress and carried a bouquet to tone. The bridegroom was attended by his brother, Mr W. G. Hardeastle, as best man. Following the ceremony a reception was held at the home of the bride's parents. MARRIED AT HERNE BAY LEWIS—BE EMXER The wedding took place at St. Stephen's Presbyterian Church, Jervois Road, yesterday afternoon of Miss Margaret Dorothea Bremner, only daughter of Mr and Mrs David Bremner, 46 Ardmore Road, Heme Bay. and Mr Gordon Frederick Lewis, only son of Mr and Mrs VI. B. Lewis, 32 Great South Road, Renmera. The Rev. W. R. Milne officiated and Mrs Reid was the organist. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a square-necked white silk linen suit with an e.velet-embroid-ered peplum. Her large white straw hat had a small spray of orange blossom under the brim and she carried a sheaf of white gladioli and roses. The bridesmaid, Miss Elizabeth Irvine, wore a frock of ice blue crepe and a cream straw hat trimmed with ribbon and a spray of blue delphinium blossoms. She carried a sheaf of pink gladioli, shot silk roses and blue delphiniums. Mr Vincent Dunlop was best man. After the ceremony an informal reception was held at tho home of the bride's parents.
