MOVEMENTS OF SHIPS Tho Tarnbua, at present at Chelsea, is expected to sail for Sydney and Newcastlo on Mondav. Her berth will bo taken by the Wcstviow Park, which has arrived from Queensland with a cargo of sugar. The Union Co.'s vessel Karitane arrived from Adelaido yesterday with Australian flour and is at Central Wharf. The Hororata. of tho New Zealand Shipping Co., is duo to sail for Wellington tonight to complete discharge and will return to Auckland at. a later dato to load for the United Kingdom. The New Zealand Government motor-vessel Maui Pomaro will sail for Apia, Niuo and Rarotonga on Tuesday. She is at present discharging a cargo of Island fruit and produce at King's Wharf. The Gisborne Sheep Farmers' motor-vessel Margaret W. is expected today from Gisborne, Tolaga and Tokomaru Bays and will berth at King's Wharf. She is sailing for tho same ports on Tuesday. THE CITY MARKETS As Island lomatoes wero on tho market, prices for hothouse varieties easod a little at tho City Markets yesterday. There was a keen demand for New Zealand grapefruit, which sold at ceiling prices. Supplies of etrawborries continuo to bo very small. Cabbages and cauliflowers, which came forward it?, heavy quantities, realised very low prices, while new potatoes and green peas wero plentiful. A heavy supply of poultry met with a keen demand, prices remaining unchanged. Prices were:— Fruit. —Tomatoes, hothouse, 2h to 2s Sd per lb; tree tomatoes, new black. 20s to 32s a case; yellow, I.Bs to 20s; grapefruit. Now Zealand. 17s to 225; passion fruit, 18s to 21s a % ease; strawberries, Captain Cook, 5s to 7s Od per chip.
