OPENING OF THE TOUE GAME WITH SWANSEA TODAY LONDON, Oct. 25 Reports from Wales, the scene of many friendly battles with New Zealanders on the Rugby field, state that great interest is being taken in tho opening game of the Army Rugby touring team against Swansea on Saturday. Swansea, which is undefeated this year, has selected a strong team, which includes the internationals Hayden Tanner and Harry Payne, both of whom played against the 1035 AH Blacks, Major Jack Finlay will captain tho New Zealanders and lead tho haka. Several New Zealanders who hoped to reach England from Italy in time to see tho match have been delayed on the Continent as the result of severe gales, which are sweeping southern England and whipping op mountainous seas, which are preventing Channel crossings. Leave parties are held up in Calais, Soisscm and Dijon awaiting an improvement in the weather. Tanner, the Welsh international scrum-half, will captain the Swansea fifteen, and he is expected to captain Welsh sides in big matches later. SERVICE TEAM WINS LONDON, Oct. 25 A New Zealand Services Kugby Union team heat tho Commandos by 30 points to nil. The New Zealanders displayed all-round superiority. They won tho majority of the scrums and were much faster in the loose, which served them well, because the first two tries resulted from loose rushes. Tries were scored by M. Goddard, G. Henderson, J. O'llearn, Hotting and Blick. Kidland converted thfeo tries and Henderson and O'Hearn kicked penalty goals. DONNELLY OXFORD CENTRE LONDON, Oct. 24 Major M. P.
