VETERANS ON COUETS TAKAPUNA PLAYERS' SUCCESS Two Takapuna players, J. W. Mayhill and R. G. Sloman, won tho Macky Cup in the veterans' doubles tennis tournament promoted by the Auckland Lawn Tennis Association at the Stanley Street courts yesterday. The Veterans' Plate final was won by C. C. Chalmers and J. V. Macky, who formerly represented Parnell Club, and the winners of the consolation event, E. Jones and C. D. Warren, arc Royal Oak players. Details are as follows: —
