SWIMMING CARNIVAL
WAITEMATA CLUB Keen competition, particularly in tlie junior and intermediate events, was a fealure of a successful carnival held at tlie tepid baths last evening by the U'aitemata Amateur Swimming Club. There was a good attendance. There were over f>o competitors in the boys' races, and only winners of heats competed in the Finals. The dual relay race provided a spectacular event.
