AUCKLAND WEDDINGS BOUSTEAD—TIARKS The wedding took place at St. Mark's Church, Rernnera, yesterday of Miss Susanna Josephine Phipps Tiarks, twin daughter of the late Rev. and Mrs. M. C. Tiarks, of Yorkshire, England, and Mr, William James Harold Boustead, youngest son of Mrs. 32. B. Boustead and the late Mr. J. G. Boustead, of Kent, England. Archdeacon P Houghton officiated. The bride, who was given away by her cousin, Mr. Herbert Tiarks, wore a charming frock of dusky pink crepe suede with a navy blue straw hat and navy accessories. She carried a bouquet <>l pink dahlias and roses. Mrs. Maurice Westland Kees was matron of honour. She wore a pastel blue boucle frock with a small matching hat, and carried a bouquet of pink tiger lilies. The best man was Mr. Eric Band, the bridegroom's cousin. The reception after the ceremony was held at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Herbert Tiarks, Reinuera Road. V ET R 0 V EC—STOI * M ONT At the Manurewa Presbyterian Church on Saturday, February 12, the wedding took place of Miss Jov Miriam Storinont, second daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Storinont, of Greenmeadows, Manurewa, and Sergeant Edward Vetrovec, youngest son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Frank Vetrovec, of Illinois, United States. geant Sanders, U.S.A. During the service a solo was rendered by Mr. Oscar Mason. The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a trained frock of white organdie, made with a slim corselet bodice and very full skirt. Her tulle veil was held in place with a coronet of tuberoses, and she carried a shower bouquet of white roses, gardenias and tuberoses. Mrs. Colin Mabon, of Whangarei, who was matron of honour, wore a full frock of blue moss crepe, trimmed with diamante. Sharlene Storinont, sister of the bride, was flower girl, wearing a frock of pink eyeletted muslin and lace. They carried baskets of pink carnations and blue delphiniums. The best man was Sergeant Charles O. Clements, U.S.A. After the ceremony, a reception was field at the l'arnell Park Kiosk, where the guests were received by the bride's mother. - PATRIOTIC FUND A considerable sum was raised for the Henderson patriotic fund as the result of a garden party held at the residence of Mr. and Mrs. John S. Ryan, Glenfern, Henderson. Special entertainments for the children were features of the afternoon.
