SCHOOLBOY KILLED

DRAGGED JSY TRAIN ACCIDENT AT NEW LYNN A schoolboy was killed when he was dragged for about 50 yards by a train at the New Lynn station shortly before nine o'clock yesterday morning, tie was Ljubo Nizich, aged 12, son of Mr. M. Nizich, of 11 Seabrook Avenue, New Lynn. The boy was apparently trying to board the train on his way, to school at Henderson and he was caught underneath the train as it started. An inquest will be opened this morning.
