NEW PINCERS MOVEMENT '(Reed. 1.45 a.m.) LONDON Nov. 22 The Russians are launching mass attacks with enormous amounts ol material in the Dnieper Bend between Krivoi Rog and Nikopol, according to the German-controlled Scandinavian Telegraph Bureau. Latest reports from Moscow state jthat the twin Russian advances south of Kremenchug and south-west of Dnepropetrovsk threaten to break the German positions in the Dnieper Bend based on Krivoi Rog. The Rod Army is attempting to squeeze out the Germans in a new pincers movement. In the Korostvshev area the Russians have advanced on two sectors after repelling enemy counter-attacks. Renter's correspondent says [Russian forces striking north-west of DRyechitsa have captured Gorwal, a lieavily-fortified German stronghold on the banks of the Beresina.

The German news agency reports jthat the Russians made another seaborne landing south of Kerch, m the Crimea. Twenty landing craft, escorted Jbv gunboats, took part. The agency claims that three fullv-laden craft were gunk. It adds that three reached their objective, but the remainder were driven off.
