AIR FORCE WEDDING

THOMSON-MACKINNON The wedding of Miss Mona Kennedy Mackinnon, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Don Mackinnon, of Kaikatahi, Renown, Huntly, and Flight-Lieutenant Bruce Hannan Thomson, son of .Mr. and Mrs. A. Thomson, of Gore, was celebrated at St. Mary's Cathedral yesterday evening by Dean Fancourfc. The bride, who was given away by her uncle. Mr. Marsden Cardon, wore a navy frock embroidered with white and a spray of pink carnations. Her small navy sailor hat was finished with white and she wore navy accessories Mrs. David Watkins, as matron of honour, wore a frock of powder-blue wool georgette and a navy hat and accessories. The best man was Mr. S. M. l'rosser. A small informal reception was held after the ceremony at the home of Mr. and Mrs. Marsden Cardon. St; Stephen's Avenue, Parnell.
