PARNELL WOMEN'S GROUP
A year of steadv progress was reported at the annual meeting of the Parnell Patriotic Women's Group, held yesterday morning and presided over by Mrs. M. M. Dreaver. M.P. The report stated that members iiad worked consistently during the year and 174!) articles had been knitted and forwarded to headquarters The patriotic shop had been conducted on two days and the sum of £;>o taken. Donations had been made toward soldiers' parcels and members had assisted with the packing. A sub-committee was set up to function as a patriotic fund committee for 194 a. Mrs. W. P. Kndean was elected chairman and Mrs. K. R. Turner organising secretary
