SERVICE VEHICLES

CONCESSION TO SOLDIERS (P.A.) WELLINGTON. Thursday Provision is made in the Motor Vehicles Registration Emergency Order, 1943, gazetted to-night, for a discharged member of the services to re-register his vehicles without payment of registration fee if proof can be given that cancellation of the previous registration arose principally from the owner's military service. The order also provides for vehicles used exclusively for military purposes to be run without registration plates. This will save both work and material, but it is believed that arrangements have boon made for all such vehicles to have a number painted on in three places
