Sir, —-How long will it be before a law is passed giving t&e income tax payer the power to deduct the 2s ia : the pound already paid on wages from = his yearly income? » For instance, a man earning £312-' per year has deducted from his wages before he receives them £3l 4s. He is allowed to deduct £250 for self and wife, leaving a taxable balance of £62, Deduct £3l 4s already paid in security taxes leave a total'of £3O 16s, but he is still compelled to pay on the original £62. Justice or Injustice.
