INCREASE IN BRITAIN (Feed. 9.10 p.m.) LONDON, Feb. 17 Income tax receipts _in Britain for the financial year beginning April 1, 1941, says the British official wireless, are 50 per cent greater than the corresponding date in the previous financial year, according to the Exchequer returns. The figures are £604.81-?.000 against £403,369,000. The total ordlnar.v revenue for the week ended F<.>hruary 11 was £66,106.743, against a total ordinarv expenditure of £92,642.115 »
