FINGERS BLOWN OFF
(0.C.) GISBOENE, Tuesday Injuries to the hands -were suffered by a young Maori, Smiler Wi Rangi, •who was admitted to the Cook Hospital from Matawai. Wi Rangi was haddling > some explosives on the Moanui station when an explosion occurred prematurely. His injuries included the loss of some" fingers.
