FAST CONTEST ANTICIPATED The Auckland Town Hall on Monday night will be the venue of a return wrestling match ■between Fred Atkins, Australian champion, and John Ivatan, the Canadian, who bas beaten both Blomfield and Atkins in ihis first two matches in New Zealand this year. Katan's success against Atkins was gained through a decision by the referee and the verdict was by no means satisfactory to Atkins, who claimed that he was at least entilled to a draw. Opinions among tho Siuge crowd were divided, but there was general agreement that the men had T»nt on one of the best displays ever eeen in Wellington. Atkins realised that* in meeting Katan he was up against the toughest opposition he had so far been called upon to face, but, as the bout progressed, -bis confidence increased, and, toward Hie finish, he was trading bold for hold with tois formidable opponent. As a result- of that experience he will go into Monday's, bout ready to wrestle in match-winning styLo from the first gong.
