WEDDING AT CASTOR BAY

HUTTON—KIRK Blue, white and gold flowers decorated the Presbyterian Church at Castor Bay on Saturday morning, when Miss Audrey Joy Kirk, only daughter of Mr. and Mrs. C. J. Kirk, Castor Bay. was married to Mr. Rodger Eric Hutton, son of Mr. and Mrs. T. W. Hutton, Wairiki lload, Mount Eden. The ceremony was performed by the Rev. Morgan Richards, and the organist was Mr. Donald Edgar. During the service a solo was sung by Miss Shirley Benham., The bride, who was given away by her father, wore a charming frock of delphinium blue crepe suzanne. Fashioned with a long, slim-fitting bodice, the draped neckline and short sleeves were edged with narrow beige lace. On her head the bride wore a bonnet halo of beige sisal straw, from which fell a delphinium blue veil. Her bouquet was of roses, sweet peas and stock. In attendance as bridesmaid was Miss Rachael Woodward, who wore an attractive beige frock of corded jerseylaine. Her bonnet halo was of toning rosella straw, and she carried a bouquet of blue and gold flowers. The bridegroom was attended by Mr. Royden Jackson as best man. A reception was held at the home of the bride's parents. To receive her guests, Mrs. Kirk wore a frock of cyclamen crepe sharmeer relieved with touches of blue. Her tiny hat was of navy ballibuntal straw with a beige lace crown, and she carried a posy of cyclamen flowers. The bridegroom's mother, Mrs. Hutton, wore a frock of flowered sheer under a navy blue coat of the same material. Her picture hat was of navy straw, and she carried a bouquet in rose tonings. The bride travelled in a smartly-cut two-piece ensemble of brown checked tweed with a blouse of yellow organdie and brown accessories.
