POWER CONSUMPTION
POSITION IN ROTORUA (0.C.) BOTORUA, Friday Government departments and local bodies in Rotorua have reduced their consumption of electricity by an average of nearly 10 per cent, while domestic consumption has increased by 21.11 per cent, according to figures produced by the acting-district manager of the Tourist Department,' Mr. L. N. Trege&r, at a meeting of the Rotorua Chamber of Commerce. Mr. Tregear discussed with member# steps to keep Rotorua consumption within limits and plans for illumination during carnival week.
