WOMAN IN HOSPITAL
IDENTITY NOT KNOWN Suffering from concussion and a lacerated scalp, an elderly woman wos found lying on the pavement in Grey's Avenue, City, shortly before eight, o'clock last night. She was taken to the Auckland Hospital, where her condition was stated to be serious. Widespread inquiries by the police had failed to establish the woman's identity at a late hour.
