ASSEMBLY OF MEN WEEK-END ACTIVITIES CADRES» AND MORE RECRUITS A considerable regrouping and mobilisation of Territorials will take place in the Northern Military District to-day and on Monday. It will affect unit cadres who for the past month have been carrying out wing training; recruits about to embark on three months' intensified instruction; and some new cadres which have been established for certain of the smaller units. In addition, numbers of men who have completed three months' intensified instruction will be demobilised and return to their homes. Cadres which have been in camp for the last month are from light armoured fighting vehicle, artillery and infantry formations. After being divided into wings to pursue their own specialised duties, they will Reassemble to-day according to units, and on Monday will begin the recruit training of the now draft of men being mobilised for three months' intensified training. Among these recruits are more than 200 university and Training College students, who will be demobilised in time to attend the first term at their colleges next year, completing their three months later. The new cadres, which are also assembling on Monday, are for ambulance, engineers, signals and army service corps units. Some of the recruits are also being posted to these units. As a result of the two days' activity, "home defence training will be in full swing at' Avondale, Waikaraka Park, Whangarei, Ngaruawahia and Botorua.
