HAMILTON, Tuesday A solid round by Erndale and Glen CotineU was a feature of the work at To .Rapa this morning, when the going on the course proper, 25ft. out from the rails, was holding following heavy overnight rain. More rain fell during the course of. jthe morning and the track became Heavier -as the work progressed. There was little between Vaalsmoss (Fenton) and Acquest (Meynell) at the end of five furlongs in -T.S-'J-o. They ran the first three in 3Ss. Botli are in capital order ami should perform well at EUerslie on Saturday. Royal Son (Gollop) was doing better than Tea Drop (J. Mclnally) at the conclusion of five furlongs in 1.5 4-5. Eastern Heir (Mclnally), who appears to be all the better for recent racing, finished clear of Karatoki (Gollop) at the completion of a circuit in 2.6%, after running the first five furlongs in 1.1 l 1-5. Gay Streak (Gollop) and Canpy (Broshinski) got to the end of six furlongs in 1.23 1-5, after covering the first five furlongs in 1.8 1-5.
