SOME SMART GALLOPS KRAAL, COURT FAVOURITE SOUND EFFORT BY TELLSOM A very solid seven furlongs by Kraal and Court Favourite was the highlight of training operations at Takanini yesterday, when, in the earlier part of the morning, the inside grass track was in good order. CANTERBURY HORSES PLANS FOR HOLIDAY RACING TRAINING AT RICCARTON (0.C.) CHRISTCHURCH. Tuesday Several Canterbury trainers have announced provisionally their teams for racing during 'he period. These include H. Cutts, with \Y ltd Talk, Wild Fox, Court Dress and a two-year-old, for Manawatu and Wairarapa; A. McAulay, with Stabilise and Sir Gundi, for Manawatu and Marton or Wairarapa; C. Emerson, with Don't Forget and Benevolent. Dunedm, Waikouaiti and Oarnaru. The Canterbury, Welcome Stakes winner, Grilse, will not have a heavy programme for the rest of the season. It is expected she will be sent to Trentham in January. The three-year-old Anchorage, by Winning Hit from Fast Passage, has been taken in hand again by H. and A. Cutts, who will get him ready for autumn racing. Achorage is well grown and has good breeding to recommend him. After boine hacked about for some weeks, Rawhamai has returned to Riccarton, where he is being trained by A. S. Ellis. Rawhamai should be fairly forward by Christmas.
