USEFUL TROTTERS
GAYNOR, WORtHY WORKER The Mangere-trained trotters Worthy Worker and Gaynor. who ran first and second in the Green Lane Handicap at Epsom on Labour Day should lend interest to tho Tinhoppled e*er,ts at Claudelands on Saturday. Gaynor is on 72 yards in tho Introductory Handicap and Worthy Worker on 12 yards in the Rukuhia Handicap. Both have good prospects. . ' , ~ Gavnor's last success was in tho Gicsking Handicap At Greyinouth in October, 1935, when she gave Lament 36 yards' start <u win dv a neck. Ir the interval Lament has reached the highest class and last Fridiy won the New Zealand Trotting Championship at Addington. The solid effort of Gaynor last month suggests that she may add to E. E. Cressey's fine record of successes. Cressey trains his own horses, and their good form is a tribute to his methods, which consist chiefly of beach and hill work and plenty of salt water treatment.
