ROOM FOR THE FAMILY
Sir,—l agree with "Justice" that some action should be taken to find accommodation for the family, as this is probably the most urgent reform needed in New Zealand at the present time. Soon the married men (some with children) will be called up. Many of them will have to find accommodation for their wives. But how can thoy do this when children are not allowed house room at any price? When our single men come home, marry and have children of their own, the daddy, now a hero, will have become an undesirable tenant like a lot of other people trying to bring up good little New Zealanders with limited means. These little people will be needed badly to straighten out the mess we have made and 1 think they are worth more than all the mischief their little hands, can do. Poor New Zealand.
