GALLOPING RESUMED KILROBE TESTS TREASURER SOME PROFICIENT HURDLERS (0.C.) CHRISTCHUKCII, Tuesday With a favourable change in track conditions, fast work was resumed at Riccnrton to-day. One of tlie inside tracks was open, and, although it was slippery in places, it provided fair going. Tho best gallop over six fui*ougs among tho early workers was credited to Kilrobe and I'reasurt r. Kilrobe soon opened up a big gap, but Treasurer was close to her at the finish in lit; 1-5. Night Ueeital beat Stylosa over five furlonjfs in l.a 4-5. Wild Talk and Shikari went over the same ground in 1.4. Other trials over five furlongs included Gay Parade, 1.5; Sir Gundi and Blue Abbey, 1.(1 2-5; Gunga Din and A venal, 1.6 1-5; Alias and Espionage, ;.•> 4-5; Eulogist and Myraid and Military Maid, 1.7; Ann Mie, 1.5; Lord Midas and Square Cut, .1.8. Later, at. Cloud and Sham Hoy finished together, well clear of .Roman Son, over six furloi'gs in l.Ki 1-5. Nighty-lass, Mungatoon and Mufller, separately, took 1.18; Atreus, J .18 12-5 j Ryetown, 1.19 1-5; Blue Coat, Scarteen and Ackemma, 1.20 3-5; Merrv March and Wagner, 1.20 4-5; Haughty Winner, Parchment and Areas, Cymric and The Wrecker, 1.20. Dividend and Good Health strode over a mile in 1.48. Iceland Spar was given a sprint over three furlongs, recording 3K a-ss. Dattlevale Jumped a round of the schooling steeplechase fences in an impressive manner. Recollection did well in a similar task. Night Prince jumped four hurdles fairly well, but Donadea went exceptionally well over the same course. Night Dress and Noddy negotiated four hurdles in faultless faslnou.

PROGRESS OF WALTER GAY THREE BELLS AT TWO MILES BY ABAYDOS Several horses wore given sound work on the dirt track at Epsom yesterday. The best efforts were credited to Three Bells, Walter Gay, Northern Smile, Antarctic Star, Harney Bin Ken, Silver Watch, True Guide, Dick Redmond and Sonja. Henie. Taking' the lead shortly after the start Walter Clay (A. Brown) led Kings tone (W. Fleming) over a mile and a-half in 3.41, the last mile and a-quarter taking 3.0 and the finaf half-mile 1.10. Walter Gay. who is making steady progress, paced very solidly. Ringstone could not reach her more experienced compunion, bnt she may soon be back to her best. , . Three Bells (J. Kennerley. inn.) was se_nt two miles in 5.1. the first taking 2.3<i. He covered the final half-mile in 1.10 and w_as not taxed. Three Bells is in nice condition for more serious work. , ... Sonja Henie (W. H. Bush) was responsible for a good effort over a mile and a-quarter in 3.1, the last half-mile occupying 1.10 4-o. She paced smoothly and gave the impression she could have done better. True Jewel (D. Cook) led Bon Haven (L. J. Mahoney) throughout- a mile and a-half in 3.40, the last mile taking 2.30. T.rue Jewel is improving under Cook's guidance. Bon Haven broko wheii challenging in the straight. Lady Deuise (J. Kennerley. jun.) took 3.59 for a mile and a-half, but she im- £ roved to complete two mites in 5.8 2-5. Lady lenise is a good type who should prove useful next season. . True Guide (J. E. Mcßride) and Real Jewel (S. M. August) worked solidly over two rounds, completing the last mile evenly in 2.24. True Ciuide held his companion safe in the run home. Real Jewel is a full-brother to Great Jewel. . Trotting easily to the mile in -.39, Diik Redmond (A. Brown) then completed a mile and a-half in 3.52. He looks well, but has reached a difficult mark. Scrounger (D. Cook), assisted by a Jewel Pointer filly (S. M. August), ran a mile in 2.20, the last two furlongs in 30s. Scrounger is in excellent order and should improve witn 80 Antarctic Star (G. Cole) got up to Northern Smile (E. R. Smith) at the end of a mile and a-half in 3.44. but the latter was going comfortably. The first two furlongs took 435. the last four being run in 1.10. When Silver Watch (J. R. Forgesson slipped and broke a furlong and a-half from home, Barney Bingen T. Roe) went on o win easily, trotting a mile and a-half in 3.42, the final section in 1.11. She made two skips, but recovered very smartly and finished well. Silver Watch was sent an extra half-mile, which he trotted faultlessly in 1.10.
