GOVERNMENT'S ATTITUDE fBT TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION] WELLINGTON. Friday The Minister of Mines, the Hon. P. C. Webb, said to-day that the decision of the Blackball Coal Proprietary to close the Blackball mice had given the Government very serious concern. Departmental" officers and Treasury' representatives had gone into the whole matter and a report would be submitted to the Cabinet. Mr. Webb said he would leave tonight to visit Blackball and make a personal inspection before any final decision was reached.
