ASSISTANCE FOR NURSES
(0.C.) WHANG AR.FJ, Friday To raise funds for assistance and rehabilitation of New Zealand nurses with flic forces overseas, the Northland branch of the Registered Nurses' Association held a. paddy's market in Whangarei. About £l2O was raised. Many of the nurses serving overseas lost, the greater part of their clothing and effects in the Greece campaign, while others in England have had their belongings destroyed by bombs. The Nurses' Association has a fund for the assistance of such cases.
