A fire which destroyed the farm lioiW of Mr. A. Balmer, of Pohangina, as attended by the sudden death of Mr. James Andrew Nairn;, aged 70, of Kohnratahi, Taranaki. While passing) Air. Nairn saw the flames, and rushed inside and warned two children. collapsed, however, and died. MrBalmer was in town at the time.
