IDLE HANDS

Sir, —Tho letter appearing on Thursday under the nom-de-plume "Married 44 years," sets out truthfully the position of unemployment. The Placement Office is unable to find employment for the many who apply. I served in the last war for three years, before I was 20 years of age. I am drawing sustenance for my wife, self, and three young children. I cannot enlist in tho Army, as they consider I am not fit. So for many months past I have had to live in poverty and misery because work is not available. Win/./. Bang.
