INTOXICATED IN CAR

GAOL SENTENCE IMPOSED (0.C.) PUKEIvOHE, Wednesday A sentence of seven days' imprisonment with hard labour was imposed on Paul Noble, farmer, of Glenbrook, when he appeared before Mr. I". H. Levien, S.M., in the Pukekohe Police Court today charged with being intoxicated in charge of a car in Kitchener Road, Waiuku, on Juno 7. Accused, who pleaded guilty, was also disqualified from holding a driver's licence for two years. It was stated that accused was driving out of Waiuku at the time of tho offence and collided with another car coming in. Ho had been fined £5 on a similar charge on a previous occasion.
