Another recent contribution received by the board was a cheque for £2lO ~ from the Chatham Islands Jockey Club, this representing the proceeds of a patriotic race meeting held earlier in the year. A letter accompanying tha cheque asked that £IOO be devoted to the Lord Mayor of London's Relief Fund and the balance to the National - Patriotic Fund.
