THAMES VALLEY DRAINAGE (0.C.) TE AROHA, Monday By a unanimous vote Mr. F. E. Hughes was re-elected chairman of the Thames Valley Drainage Board. He has been chairman for the past 20 years. Owing to the increase in labour costs and maintenance, the board found it necessary to make an all-round mciease in rates for the coming year.
