Largo numbers of vehicles impressed hv the authorities for the use of the Armv have now been replaced in indnsti'v. .Motor registrations suggest that 'an important feature of this replaeeinent is the many old vehicles brought back into service. Replacements in such circumstances can be regarded as an expedient, but it is considered that, they will fill the broncli until the effect of the recent decision of the Government to permit increased imports of vans and trucks is demonst rated.
