Text.—o Lord, 1 know, that_ the way of man is not in himself; it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps. .Jeremiah, 10; Prayer.—o Cod who art. and wast, and art to come, before whose face the generations rise and pass away, age after age the living seek Thee and find that of Thy Faithfulness there is no end. Our fathers in their pilgrimage walked by Thy guidance, and rested on Thv compassion. Still to their children he Thou the cloud bv day and the fire by night, for the sake of Jesus Christ Thy boa our Lord. Amen.
