GILBERT AND SULLIVAN
OPENING DATE DELAYED Owing to unforeseen circumstances, the initial performance of the Gilbert and Sullivan Comic Opera Company has had to be postponed until next, Thursdav night, when "The Gondoliers" will he staged at His Majesty's Theatre. This delightful opera will be seen for four nights up to Monday, January 6, and on the Tuesday evening and following two nights and on the Wednesday afternoon "The Pirates of Penzance" will be presented, preceded by "Trial By Jury."' On Friday, January 10, and three following evenings and on Saturday afternoon. January 11, "The Yeomen of the Guard" will be revived, and on Wednesday, January 15. and two following nights "lolanthe" will be produced. On Saturday. January IS. and three following nights and on the Saturday afternoon "The Mikado" will be presented. On Thursday, January 23. "Ruddigore" will be "revived. The season will close on Friday and Saturday, January 2-i and 25. when "H.M. Pinafore," precoded by "Cox and Box, will bo staged.
