Notice has bee;i given by the officer in charge of the northern' military district that the islands of Motutapu and Rangitoto and the whole of that por* tion of Wlmngaparaoa Peninsula east of Okoromai Bay are under military control and are therefore prohibited to iho public. Owners of yachts and other sailing craft are advised that sailing or anchoring within two chains of the shore of those areas is prohibited. Th 9 owners of property at Islington Bay, Rangitoto, are advised to communicate with northern military district headquarters regarding passes to that area.
