BURIAL DELAYED
INCIDENT AT GREYMOUTH [tit telegraph—OWN correspondent] GREYMOUTH, Thursday A considerable delay in tlie hiirial of a patient who died at the Grey Hospital was explained at the monthly meeting of the hospital board. The incident had been the subject of startling rumours during the past month throughout the West Coast. The chairman. Mr, .1. Mulcare, explained that a misunderstanding arose between the next of kin and the Upturned Soldiers' Association as to which was to conduct the funeral. One mortuary porter was away on leave and the other had just commenced his duties. The funeral finally took place a, week after the death.
