FOUR CARS DESTROYED

FIRE AT PAEROA [by telegraph—own correspondent] PAEROA, Tuesday A heavy loss resulted when a motor shelter and storage shed at the back of the Commercial Hotel, Paeroa, was destroyed by fire early this morningFour motor-cars were destroyed and a fifth one parked near the building was considerably damaged. Four of the cars were insured. The building, which was owned by Mr. E. P. Fathers, was insured with the South British Insurance Company. The Paeroa Volunteer Brigade prevented the spread of the fire to an adjoining shed and the hotel. The back of the main building was much scorched and some windows were broken bv the heat.
