NOVEMBER WEATHER
! RAINFALL BELOW AVERAGE | A month of very moderate weather i with rainfall slightly below the average for November is reported by Mr. S. M. Yallop, Government observer at Auckland, for last month. The prevailing wind was from the south-west and was of moderate force. Humidity records were generally below November averages. The rainfall for the month was 2.93 in., compared with an average of 3.20 in. Kain fell on 17 days. The total sunshine was 228 hours 24 minutes, with maximum recordings of 1;5 hours 12 minutes on both November ■J.'j and 27. There was only one day | on which no sunshine was recorded. | An extreme maximum shade teiuperaI ture of 77 degrees was recorded on | November 14, while nil extreme minimum of 15.-S decrees was recorded on j November 21. The lowest grass reading. of 42 degrees, was recorded on November 21. Barometric pressure ranged from a minimum of 29.215iu. on November 8 to a maximum of 30.311 in. on November 28. The mean for the month was 29.S 17 in. LESS RAIN IN WAIKATO MODERATE TOTAL FOR YEAR [from our own cokhkspoxdent] HAMILTON, Monday The rainfall for November in Hamilton was less than the average, 3.34 in. being recorded, as against the average of 4.ofin. For the year to date, 40,05ui. has fallen, as against the annual average of 40.82 in.
